FACULTY IN FOCUS
Jorge Luis Pallo
At Theatre of Arts Creative Lab, we believe that great teaching comes from artists who are actively working in their craft. This month, we're shining a spotlight on Jorge Luis Pallo — actor, director, educator, and one of the most dynamic voices on our faculty.
A Life in the Theatre
Jorge Luis Pallo's journey to Hollywood began in South America, where he first discovered his love of storytelling on the stage. After training rigorously in classical theatre, he moved to Los Angeles to pursue a career in film and television. Since then, he has built an impressive body of work across stage, screen, and voice — bringing the same intensity and curiosity to every project he takes on.
Teaching Philosophy
In the classroom, Jorge is known for a teaching style that is both rigorous and deeply supportive. He believes that actors must first learn to trust themselves before they can bring truth to a role. His workshops combine technical precision with emotional honesty, and he challenges his students to make bold, specific choices — on stage and on camera.
"The work is not about being perfect. It's about being present, alive, and willing to discover something new in every take." — Jorge Luis Pallo
In the Room
Students who have taken Jorge's workshops describe the experience as transformative. Whether working on a dramatic scene, an audition side, or a self-tape, Jorge meets each actor where they are and pushes them toward something more truthful. His classes are known for their energy, their warmth, and their unflinching focus on the craft.
Looking Ahead
Jorge continues to work as an actor and director while teaching at Theatre of Arts Creative Lab. This spring, he will lead a new intensive on on-camera dramatic acting, and we couldn't be more excited to have him in the room.
